2nd post in one day!

Still nothing on SDCC.  Refreshing the page all the time, but the button is still inactive.

HAWKMAN CHANGES!  I was on Newsarama (as I am quite a bit) and came across this article:

Can't say I like the the shoulder thingy's.  Looks like they'd chafe.  The wings look way big.  He DOES look like a badass though.  Which is good, cause that's what he is, a badass!!!  They must have made Ray really small, I can't see him anywhere in the picture. <grin>


Wow and I mean WOW, I had a really vicious rant typed up about a comic writer who has a story that we've all had to listen to over and over again for the past few years.  I deleted it though, it was too mean and I don't like being that mean.  I actually felt really bad after I was done typing it!  But I really do hope that I don't have to hear that story again for a long, long time.  I got a link to it yet again via email this morning and I just sort of went off.  After writing all that mean stuff, I tried to make up for it by saying:

"But if he can continue giving us free tickets to the gun show, that would be great.  I have a close friend who is seriously in awe of those biceps and the only way I can get her to go to a comics panel at the conventions that don't involve Doctor Who or Torchwood is to promise he's there with a t-shirt on and the guns on display".

It's all true!  But I don't think even that makes up for the mean and nasty things I typed.  The funny / sad thing about it is I know / knew someone who was absolutely convinced I had a crush on the guy.  No matter what I said and how many times I said it, I just couldn't convince them otherwise.  After a while I finally gave up.  I never had a crush on him or his biceps.  There, it's now in print on the Internet.  I can't take it back.  :-)

Awe man, thinking about that makes me kinda sad.  I suppose deserve it after writing that stuff, even if I didn't publish it in a blog.
