So yesterday went well, I guess.  I didn't get my stitches out and they have to re-evaluate one of the test results, so I have to schlep back up to Arcadia next week.  No worries though!  I'm sure it's all for the best and everything will be fine!

I had a really good chat with my uncle yesterday.  We met at the Knights Hall..... I figured that they were having some sort of St. Patrick's Day gala or something, but it was just us.  It was nice catching up with him.  For all the nonsense I experienced while living with him, I really miss him.  He's like someone out of a different time.  He has unique "homespun" takes on everything and he's always on your side.  At least, he's always on my side.  :-)  And he misses my cat Gotham, or as he calls him "Auggie" (short for Augustus Caesar.... don't ask).  I, yet again, invited him to drop by my place whenever he wants, but I doubt he will.

Traffic home was pretty brutal, but it gave me time to think and evaluate the day, which is good.  You know, go over everything in my head and get things in order.  By the time I got home I had a pretty good plan for the rest of the night and a tentative plan for today.  I even got a decent parking space near my apartment when I finally got home!

Only bummer was that the three pairs of pants I got yesterday don't fit.  BAH!  I hate trying things on AND I hate returning things.  Oh well, at least they're too big and not too small, so there's a bright side!  I guess I'll take them back and exchange them this weekend.  If I have time.

I didn't get a chance to get more of my stuff together for charity last night, so that's what I'm doing tonight.  Big Friday Night Plans!  This weekend is so packed, I gotta do it tonight.  I'll put some DVD's in and get to it.  Since I have an appointment with Dr. Sophie early this afternoon, I should get home before my normal time and have a nice long stretch of time to spend on getting my crap bagged and loaded into the car.  I just wish the charity shops opened up earlier for donations on Saturdays so I could get it done earlier in the day.  I think they open at 10am at the earliest.  Grrrr.

Have a great day everyone.  Remember to be kind to everyone you come across, even if they're jerks.
