Hey everyone!  It’s been a minute, sorry. Work and stuff have been keeping me busy and every time I was about to take a second to post, I couldn’t think of anything to type.

The summer has been okay so far, if not a bit too warm for my taste.

I’m going to D23 next week. It’s my first time and boy does it look complicated! We could only get passes for Saturday and to be honest, the programming doesn’t look great. I was able to get reservations for the Wolverine 50th anniversary thing so I at least have that to look forward to. I thought Saturday would be filled with the big ticket events! Then again, I don’t understand this event so I might have read things wrong.

Speaking of Wolverine, Deadpool and Wolverine is a FUN movie! If you can, go see it! Since I’m old, I always see movies at an IPic theater, where i can lay down, have delicious food and drinks brought to me and not have other moviegoers “too” close. They have things kind of like two-person pods with blankets and a small table. Love it! I may see it again today/tomorrow and might try the theater around the corner. I think they have luxury recliners. We’ll see! It’s supposed to be around 100F (38 C)  this weekend, so a cool movie theater might be a nice break.

What else has been going on? I thought I finally got Covid for the first time, but it was just mild food poisoning. It suuuuucked!

My landlord got the plumber in to fix a clog in my bathroom pipes, which was good. My tub is separate from my shower and they were draining into each other and the sink was draining into both. The only bummer about having the plumber in was my landlord finally asked him to replace my kitchen faucet. He only had one that was compatible on him and it was really expensive. I told him it could wait until he had a different one, but my landlord insisted he do it. So they took out my old one and put in this fancy tall curved number with a hose in it. Well, I didn’t think to take an aerator/adaptor off that I’d put on for my countertop dishwasher and it turns out they’re not compatible anyway. I bought about $50 worth of parts to try and make it work to no avail. So then I had to buy a new countertop dishwasher with a water tank you manually fill up so it doesn’t need to be connected to the faucet. Unfortunately, its capacity is quite a bit less than my original unit. It IS fancier though! Omg, it has a window, interior light, digital countdown timer, all kids of stuff! Dumb thing is, because my cupboards hang lower than standard, neither unit fits under them (not even close!). It’s nice to have one though, plus they use WAY less water than hand washing, isn’t that neat? I would have thought the opposite. Luckily, there were good deals on units for Prime Day.

I never got around to re-arranging my living room, so I’m going to try and map something out today or tomorrow. I hauled out my super-fancy portable a/c unit to keep the room cool if I decide to move furniture (first time this year I’ll be using it!). Question is, do I really need a desk and workspace in here? I’ve got artwork up and rugs that use the robins egg blue color of my sweet, sweet desk. I dunno!

And I STILL need to do something about my kitchen…

Lol, how boring is my life?!!??

More later! Have a great weekend, stay cool if it’s warm where you’re at.
