Well, Easter is tomorrow and this time of year always makes me think of a special person I spent a lot of time with a few years ago, around Easter. I miss them a lot. It was the first and only time I've ever made an Easter "basket" for anyone. It was silly, but fun.

So, yeah. Um, I moved house two weeks ago. My new place is a lot bigger, brighter, CLEANER, AND has two parking spaces. I'm on a quieter street, in a smaller building (only 3 units). The owner has the bottom level and there are two apartments here on the top. I'm, as always, within walking distance of a Trader Joe's.  I can also walk to restaurants, Target, banks, etc.  Gotham seems to really like it, even though we're not unpacked yet.  Thankfully, stores are still open on Easter, because I need to get more brackets to hang curtains!  I have a sun room in this apartment and it gets really hot in there, so the sooner I can get curtains up, the better.

I've decided to try and keep this apartment light and airy, no more blackout curtains. Since I've been on this migraine medicine, I haven't needed them as often.  I need more rugs though, there is no carpet to be found here!  My last place was so dark and crowded, I want this place to be different.  It helps that it has an enourmous amount of uable storage space, lol!
